Unley Homes and What They Need
Cracked cornices
Cracks get raked out and filled, not just painted over.
In older homes, cracks often open up where the cornice meets the wall or ceiling. Painting straight over them only hides the crack for a while. We rake out the loose material, fill and sand the crack, and prime the repair before the room is painted, so the line of the cornice stays clean.
